If ?QSound? tab is not appeared on the control panel after checking the box and booting like above picture, you have to modify EEPROM to activate QSound as steps shown below.
* If QSound tab has been appeared already, do not need to take this step following. * When you modify EEPROM, you must remove existing driver first, and then rewrite EEPROM.
1) Download this file (eeprom(2).zip), extract it. 2) Three files are extracted from this file, and then copy it to DOS boot diskette or to the findable folder. 3) Boot your computer into DOS mode with DOS boot diskette. (It never means the DOS mode in Windows.) 4) Run ?eeprwa.exe? file to modify EEPROM. ("a:\eeprwa.exe", or ?eeprwa.exe? in the folder you have appointed before.) * Caution: If you do this on Windows DOS mode, errors will occur. So do this on MS DOS mode certainly. 5) After rebooting and installing the newest driver (V442a) with QSound, check ?Sound Effects / 3D Gaming Support?. And then reboot computer again, and QSound tab will be finally appeared on the control panel.
